Middleburg Heights provides its residents with a range of services throughout the year, and one next month may be an important step in household security.
The community will be offering those who call it home a free shredding service this June. Items can be dropped off for secure disposal at the Middleburg Heights Service Center, and the service will be performed on site by Shred Mobile and Recycling.
Those who plan on taking advantage of the offer have been asked to make sure they remove any paper clips or staples, and the documents must be taken out of binders. Floppy disks and CDs can be shredded as well, and everyone is eligible to have up to two copy paper box-sized containers of materials processed. These will be shredded and then recycled into a variety of new paper materials. Anyone who has questions is asked to contact (440) 234-2216.
This opportunity to ensure household documents are securely disposed of will be taking place rain or shine. A poster printing company may be tasked with preparing materials to help promote an activity to the public.
Middleburg Heights will be hosting this community shred on Saturday, June 10. It will run from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at 7375 Engle Road. For anyone who misses this opportunity, the next shred after it will be on October 7.
