Savvy amateur mixologists know that using out-of-the-box thinking when it comes to ingredients can lead to some creative and tasty cocktails. An event that explores how botanicals can add a unique flavor to mixed drinks, and it will be held in a Middleburg Heights area establishment.
Spice Kitchen and Bar’s resident cocktail expert will be leading a class that will show how herbs can be added to existing drink recipes, and also how they can be the foundation for one that is completely new. The learners will gain hands-on experience, and the planners noted that many find the techniques used to be a lot of fun.
The group will be working with freshly picked herbs, and many of the varieties used will be ones that can commonly be found in the home garden or market. Three different cocktails will be prepared, and the attendees will be welcome to sample them all.
When they go home, the students will walk away with printed recipe cards for each of the drinks, as well as special Corporate Gifts. The registration fee is $35, and the session will be approximate two and a half hours long.
Cleveland’s Spice Kitchen and Bar will be hosting this cocktail workshop on August 18. It will run from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm.
