Even though the ocean may be far away, residents of Middleburg Heights will still have a chance to enjoy a New England style clam bake, all in support of the Parma Animal Shelter.
Each person who comes to the clam bake will receive a dozen steamed clams, a cup of clam broth, a quarter chicken that has been baked, a sweet potato, a helping of coleslaw, and a hot roll with butter on the side. While the food may be the main attraction, there will also be even split draws, raffle baskets, and side boards.
Rookies Sports Bar and Grill, which is hosting the event, will be offering drink specials throughout the evening, and there will be lots of time for fun and socializing. A local printer will have a variety of branded ad specialties that can be prepared to give away as raffle prizes during a fundraising event such as this.
The ticket price for this seafood themed night is $35 each, and they can be purchased both at the shelter and online. The doors open at 4:00 pm on October 29, and the meal will begin at 5:00 pm sharp. Tickets will not be available at the door.
