Colorful ceramic Christmas trees that are lit from inside were once in vogue during the holiday season, and thanks to a Middleburg Heights class, they will be back in style this year.
Brea’s Danilly Designs will be adding a vintage touch to the season by giving the public an opportunity to prepare their own ceramic tree. As it will be a craft and sip, everyone can bring their favorite snacks and a drink, and it was explained that anyone who purchased a ticket but has to cancel will be able to pick up a kit so they can prepare their project at home.
The attendees will each craft their own 11-inch light-up tree, and the materials and electrical works are included in the $55 registration fee. To give everyone a chance to get settled, they are asked to arrive 10 minutes ahead of time, and they should allot two hours for the class.
There can be something really special about a craft project made by hand, and a makers’ class may add an extra touch of fun. A flyer printing provides a cost-effective way to get the word out, and they will be on offer at an area Print shop.
This afternoon of assembling and painting a retro style lighted ceramic holiday tree will begin at 1:30 pm on November 18th. The venue is located at 402 W Bagley Road in Berea.
