Law enforcement and other professionals who would like to add some additional items to their toolbox of skills may want to save room in their agenda for a November training opportunity.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will be running a Middleburg Heights area course that will cover medicolegal death investigations. It will have a run time of three days, and continuing education credits may be provided to the successful learners.
The classes may be helpful to those who work in law enforcement as well as other first responders, doctors, nurses, forensics scientists, and funeral directors.
The fee to register is $350. There are enough spaces in the activity to accommodate up to 24 students, and they must attend each of the sessions to receive credit. It will cover a variety of topics related to forensic pathology, and mock crime scenes will be a part of the learning.
