The joy of Halloween can be exciting to people of all ages, and a Middleburg Heights area event will bring this to the public next month.
The Brooklyn Heights Board wants to spread the word about its upcoming Trunk or Treat, as well as its costume party and Halloween Dance. These will all take place at the Brooklyn Heights Community Center, and there will be prizes presented.
On the scheduled date, the Center will get the fun started with some trunk or treating, and there will also be games, prize draws, and other excitement. In the evening, kids from grades four to six will be able to show off their Halloween attire in the dance and costume contest.
As with any community functions, this one is counting on plenty of community engagement. Volunteers are needed, and a call has also gone out seeking vehicles for the trunk or treat. Seasonal decor is also needed, and anyone who has some to donate can do so ahead of the event.
