Spring is on the way for Middleburg Heights, and that means many birds will soon be arriving in their summer homes. Area birders are invited to join in an event that will provide them with an opportunity to observe the animals in their natural habitats.
The Rocky River Nature Center, which is part of the Rocky River Reservation in North Olmsted, will be the location for the Second Saturday Bird Walk. Everyone from novice birders to those who have many years of experience alike will be coming together to learn more about their feathery neighbors. It will be led by Dave Gramskemper, Bill Deinington and Ken Gober, and the organizers noted that the activity is casual and all are welcome.
Those who would like to participate in this free event are reminded to dress for the weather and to bring along their camera and binoculars. The walk will pass through wooded and wet areas, and the organizers noted that they expect to see many species. Poster printing can be used to craft large-sized promotional materials that let the local public know when and where an event like this will be taking place.
