Each winter, thousands of crows make their way to their winter roosting areas in the woods at the Mansfeld Arts Center (MAC), and a special event is in the works that will welcome their arrival.
The crew at the MAC will be giving these intelligent birds pride of place during its Crow Fest, and everyone is encouraged to view the exhibits. It will kick off with an Opening Festival paired with an Artist Reception, both of which are scheduled for its first day.
The exhibits will feature works created by Ohio artists using a wide assortment of media, and each will celebrate crows in its own unique way. The reception that opens the displays will feature craft beers courtesy of Phoenix Brewery, and Nonno Nicks will supply the crowd with slices of its wood-fired pizza throughout the day. Both MAC members and non-members will be included in the activity, and the public may choose to purchase a piece of an artist's work to take home for themselves.
Museums, galleries, and other venues that host art exhibits may find themselves in the market for signage, Letterheads, submission contracts, and other custom materials. These can be readily prepared by area printers.
The team at MAC will be kicking off its 3rd annual CrowFest on Saturday, October 26. It will run from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and more details about the artwork and other information is available on the venue’s website.
