What's Happening in Mansfield, OH…

The Ohio State Reformatory is thought by many to have some ghostly residents, and its dark passages and rooms will be included in a tour of the institution that will give the public a chance to tour what many feel is one of Mansfield’s most haunted locations.

The two-hour-long tour, which will be led by a trained guide, will take visitors to see some of the location’s “hot spots” where paranormal activity has been reported. While there’s no guarantee that any ghosts will be seen or heard, the event still promises to be a lot of fun, and tickets start at $20.

While the group tours the building, they will hear stories about other hauntings that have been reported over the years. There will be walks departing at 8:00 pm and 10:30 pm, and those who are interested can choose the one that fits their schedule. It is intended for those who are at least 13 years of age, and any minors will need to have an adult along with them.

This sort of activity can be a lot of fun, and by combining history with the paranormal, it can also be an opportunity to learn about Mansfield’s past.
