Country music fans in the Mansfield area will be able to attend a concert in January by Diamond Rio and local band The DeVault Ridge Band who will open for Diamond Rio.
Opening act, The DeVault Ridge Band, is a band from Mansfield. The band plays the music of many country favorites including Chesney, Rucker, and Cline. It is likely that residents and businesses are promoting the concert with Posters featuring the headliners and their local band.
Both bands will take the stage for a night of country music sure to please everyone. Diamond Rio’s band, which consists of six members, will play a variety of instruments including guitars, drums, keyboards, and banjos. Vocals performed by at least three of the members will round out the set.
The band, which formed in 1989, are winners a Grammy Award and a Focal Group of the Year awards from CMA and ACM. They have also, over the years, raised more than a million dollars for nonprofit agencies. Along with releasing an autobiography, and selling platinum and gold albums, the band has also been the recipient of the Minnie Pearl Humanitarian Award.
