A lazy August day can be a great time for car show, and one planned for Mansfield will be a gathering the whole family can attend and enjoy.
The Heart of the City Cruise In has become an annual event, and along with a chance for vehicle buffs to show off their pride and joy to the world, it will include lots of activities. It can be a full day of fun, and pre-registrations are currently being accepted for the gathering.
This will be the 25th year for the cruise in, and more than 100 trophies will be presented in a variety of categories. Live entertainment is also on the agenda, and door prize draws have also been planned. It will be taking place in Central Park, and all the attendees are invited to stop by the vendor alley to check out the bargains that will be on offer from area businesses.
To thank those who choose to register ahead of time for the gathering, each person who does so will receive several extra perks. These include a dash plaque, T-shirt and other swag, and these will all include a special graphic design.
The Heart of the City Cruise In will be helping to make the end of another summer on August 22nd. It will be open to the public from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
