An event scheduled for the Mansfield area will let seniors get in on the fun of a prom night.
The first Senior Citizen Prom will give the area's older adults a chance to dance the night away to tunes from their salad days, and it will include many of the activities that have come to be a tradition at this sort of event. It will welcome ticket holders at Ontario Middle School, and will offer two hours of active fun.
Music at the function will include hits from the Big Band era, and refreshments will be served. A photo booth will be set up, and everyone who is 65 and up is invited to show off their best moves on the dance floor. Admission is free, but the planners have requested that, to help make organizing the function easier, anyone who is interested sign up ahead of time.
An occasion like this often calls for custom designed decor, and a banner printing company will have many options available for this. Any to cater to any budget, these will help to make a function feel even more special.
The Senior Citizen Prom will be giving Mansfield’s adults an event of fun next Thursday, October 21. It is a production of the Ontario Recreation Department and the Ontario Middle School Leadership group.
