A Mansfield institution that is full of kid-friendly fun has a special day in the works for the community, and it may even see visitors to the museum find a new and furry friend.
The Buckeye Imagination Museum will be running its First Friday program in October, and it will offer activities that may not be available on other days. Admission is free for members and half price for non-members, and this is just the start of what will make the function special.
The families that attend the function will be able to enjoy free play as well as a crafting area with supplies set up for the kids to use. Starting at 5:00 pm, some adoptable animals from the Richland County Dog Warden’s Office and Shelter and Forgotten Feline of Richmond County , Ohio Inc. will be on site for the families to meet, and they will even be able to make an application to adopt one of these companion animals in need of a loving home.
Being part of a public event can provide an animal rescue or other not for profit group with an opportunity to introduce itself and its work to the public. Letterheads, adoption Forms and other documents can be prepared for an occasion by Stationery printers.
The Buckeye Imagination Museum will be welcoming kids and their parents or guardians for this day on October 7th. It will run from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
