Whether they fish for food or follow catch and release practices, fishing is a hobby many enjoy, and a Mansfield activity will introduce this pastime to the next generation of fishers.
North Lake Park will be the venue for the Family Fishing Day activity. It will be co-hosted by the state and federal government as well as Connecting Kids Inside Out, which is the function’s community partner.
The gathering, which will have offerings for the whole family, will see kids learn how to bait their hook, cast off, and hopefully reel in a big catch. There will be volunteers on hand to help, and along with the fishing, attendees will be treated to a petting zoo, free food, and visits to a bird sanctuary. The gear and bait items will be supplied, and everyone can take in one of the skills demonstrations.
Family-friendly activities can attract a large crowd, and a flyer printing company will be pleased to lend a hand in ensuring they will be a success. They can also craft award certificates, as well as small Corporate Gifts to present as awards.
This chance for kids to learn how to fish will be held on June 24. It will take place in the afternoon, and the organizers can be contacted by following the link provided in the AllEvents.com listing.
