Mansfield festival to take a step back in time

Mansfield is a community with a rich history, and the 44th annual Ohio Heritage Days Festival will give one and all a chance to experience it for themselves.

This annual event, which will be on offer for two days at Malabar Farm, will give area families plenty of ways to enjoy some educational fall fun. There will also be vendors on site, and admission to the function is free for everyone.

The plans for the weekend include a variety of educational displays, and a living history camp will give visitors a glimpse of the past. Civil War demonstrations and wagon rides are on the agenda, and a display of antique tractors will show how farming techniques have changed throughout the years. A barn dance will give everyone a chance to kick up their heels, and everyone can enjoy browsing through the vendor booths and displays.

The festival will be open to the public on both days starting at 10:00 am, and it will welcome visitors until 4:00 pm. Print shops can prepare materials that have a vintage look and feel for this sort of function, and these can help add to the overall atmosphere of the occasion.

The 44th annual Ohio Heritage Days festival will be held on September 26th and 27, and more details are available on the Destination Mansfield website.
