It will be all aboard for fun at a nautical-themed event taking place in Mansfield.
Tickets may be reserved now for the Dog Days of August community celebration, which is on the way to Charles Mills Marina. It is set to run for three days, and all pooches are welcome.
The organizers of the weekend say there will be free treats and a chance to cool off with a drink from the water station. They will also be able to meet the other dogs and their owners. The pooches will be able to show off their photogenic side in a photo contest, and the winner will receive a lifejacket for their furry friend so they can enjoy boating too.
Along with the fun in store, the function will also have a serious side. It will be raising money for the Richland County Dog Warden, and everyone who makes a donation will receive a swag bag of Corporate Gifts for both them and their canine companion. A printer will have a wide selection of items that may be a good fit for a public event.
