Mansfield downtown to host holiday-themed shopping

Anyone who would like to enjoy a one-stop shopping style may want to check out an event that will celebrate the arrival of the holidays, including an option especially for the kids.

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. has announced the arrival of December’s First Friday Shop Hop, and in honor of the season, it will be a special themed occasion. No fewer than 50 independent small businesses will be involved, and each of the participating establishments has plans in the works for the event.

The shops, eateries, and other service providers that participate in the Shop Hop will be decorated for the holidays, and many will have special pricing or be distributing Promotional Products, or their premium gifts, to thank their patrons for their support throughout the year. Carols and other seasonally themed entertainment will build a festive atmosphere, and there will be other fun on the agenda as well.

One of the activities that may be of special interest to families is the Tiny Tim Shoppe. This volunteer-run venue will offer shopping options for kids age 12 and under, who can even have them wrapped on site.

This kick-off to the holiday season will showcase Mansfield’s downtown core on Friday, December 3. For the younger guests, the Tiny Tim Shoppe will be open on weekends starting this Saturday, November 20.
