This winter, the Ohio Bird Sanctuary in Mansfield will be offering kids an opportunity to learn about the natural world and meet some of its inhabitants up close and personal.
Three sessions of the Winter Nature Camp have been planned, and they will all focus on exploring the ecosystems that can be found in the local area. Each of the camps will give children a chance to meet some of the sanctuary’s resident wildlife, and they will also spend time outdoors.
The activities that will be included in each of the camps will be nature based, and both crafts and games are included on the schedule for each of the days. A snack will be provided to the campers, but parents should ensure that their son or daughter also brings along a bagged or boxed lunch for their midday meal.
Parents of kids who are interested in participating in the camps are required to register their son or daughter ahead of time. The registration fee for each session is $30 each or $90 for all three of them. A Print company can be called upon to provide T-Shirts and other items for the campers who participate in this type of program.
The camps will be held on December 29, January 15, and February 19. Any parent who has a child who would like to take part can find more information, as well as registration Forms, on the sanctuary’s website. Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts Get a Free Quote for Print
