Christole Page attended Happy Time Child Care Center in Mansfield and even enrolled her children there. She is now the owner taking over the center from Inez Shepard, who ran the daycare for 50 years.
Page will change the name of the daycare to Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center. She derived the name from her late grandmother who passed away when Page was 16. She explains that her grandmother loved children, especially her many grandchildren, so this was the perfect way to honor her. Parents have the option of enrolling their children for a full day or half day. Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center will employ approximately eight experienced employees who will focus on creating a learning environment for the children attending.
The center will accommodate children as young as six weeks old up, through the age of twelve. Along with learning, the center will also bring in the right mix of playtime for the children. It will also provide meals and snacks for the children, including lunch and dinner for children who stay for the later hours.
Lorine’s Little Learners Daycare is located at 276 Harker St. The daycare will be open year round, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.
