Creative crafting class on the agenda for Mansfield

The Mansfield Arts Center has organized a workshop that will teach how to create a pair of earrings using fold forming techniques, and it is open to both its members and nonmembers alike.

The three-hour-long workshop will be led by Kristin Ellis, and all of the materials that will be needed to complete the project will be supplied, including brass and copper. If anyone would prefer to use sterling silver, they will be able to do so, but this will need to be purchased from the instructor.

The students in the class will be guided through the process of transforming a piece of plain sheet metal into a pair of hammered metal earrings. They will be completed during the class so that the participants can take them home with them, and anyone who is 18 years of age or older is welcome.

The registration fee for members who wish to sign for the class is $50, while for nonmembers, the price will be $65. Flyers can help to get the word out about an event like this, and they can be produced by an area flyer printing company.

The Mansfield Art Center will be offering this creative workshop on Friday, April 5. The minimum number of registrants needed for the class to take place is five people.
