ArtiStreet Festival draws crowds to Mansfield

Sponsored by Charles P. Hahn of the Cleveland Financial Group, ArtiStreet returned to Mansfield for its third year now drawing visitors from near and far.

The event is held along the streets in the Carrousel District and draws local artists and craftsmen to proudly display their items. It’s likely these artists work with local Print companies to obtain Brochures and Banners to promote their products and draw attendees to their booths and tables.

All items displayed at the event need to be handcrafted. Items on display and for sale included jewelry, pottery, drawings and paintings. Musicians were also at the event providing entertainment along the way.

Mansfield’s downtown has a new mural as well, which attendees were invited to visit and add a flower to the creation. The mural titled “Floral Bloom Artwork” has a skyline decorated with flowers of every kind. The mural was started on Memorial Day by artists with the intent to finish it up at the event.

Attendance was up this year due to the excellent weather. Children were invited to create their own images using sidewalk chalk near the Richland Carrousel Park and were able to make action figures with Lou Graziani, a local comic book artist.

For those unable to attend the event, Element of Art, located on North Main St, will allow artists who were at the event to display their work through the end of June.
