Parents who are considering summer camps for their children may plan to attend a sunny event in Lyndhurst soon.
Northeast Ohio Parent magazine and Hawken School are teaming up to present a fair that will explore the summer programs and camps taking place in the area this year. This is the largest fair of its type in the area, and representatives from dozens of summer camps will be attending the event, giving parents a chance to look at the various opportunities available. Scholarships to various camps will be awarded at the event.
The event is sponsored by University School, Kidtown Eduplay Center, Falcon Camp, and Camp Fitch. Exhibitors include the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, Visit Mickey, The Music Settlement, the School of Rock, Park Day Camp, Mathnasium, Cleveland City Dance, Adrenaline Monkey, and others.
The first 100 families who have registered online will receive a drawstring bag free of charge, and there will be activities, additional giveaways, and live entertainment provided by Jungle Terry. More performers will be announced soon. Jungle Terry is an animal expert who brings animals to various events.
The Camp & Summer Programs Fair 2023 is scheduled for March 5, from 11.00 am until 2.00 pm at the Hawken School, at 5000 Clubside Road in Lyndhurst. Admission for the event is free. Event organizers often choose to make use of flyer printing to help produce handouts with a list of all the participating organizations.
