October filled with events in Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst will be hosting several events next month including a council coffee and breakfast, farmers market, and special Halloween trail.

One-off and monthly special events can be promoted throughout a city with poster printing.

Members of the City Council and Mayor Patrick A. Ward will hold a Council Coffee and City Expo at the Lyndhurst Community Center for conversation, coffee, and breakfast from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 3. This is an annual event where residents have the chance to talk with the mayor, members of the City Council, and representatives from each of the departments in the city in an informal setting.

Legacy Village will be the location for the North Union Farmers Market from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Sunday October 11. This market will feature local farmers with honey and maple syrup, meat and dairy, and produce that is fresh grown as well as other items such as flowers, jellies, cheese, and pastries and breads, among others.

The Trick or Treat Trail Through Lyndhurst Park will be held for the sixth consecutive year from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday October 16. Attendees will receive a bag for collecting Halloween treats beginning at the Lyndhurst Community Center. In addition, there will be cider and doughnuts, a train ride, and other activities. A personal care item or non-perishable food that will benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the admission “fee” for the event.

With a variety of activities taking place throughout October, Lyndhurst residents will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the community and take part in local events. Whether attending a council gathering, shopping for local goods at the farmers market, or enjoying Halloween festivities with the family, there is something for everyone to look forward to.
