Lyndhurst Home Day will be returning next month. This is the 101st year in a row for this special event, which takes place behind City Hall in Lyndhurst Park for three days.
The event starts at 5:00 pm on Friday evening, featuring Friday Family Fun Night. The Midway will be open and there will be free carnival games in the Kids’ Tent until 8:30 pm. The Latin band Son Gitano will be performing in the big tent.
On Saturday, the Midway is open from noon to 9:00 pm. Featured at the Kids’ Tent will be face painting, a mad science show, and Flower the Clown. In the big tent, there will be music by the Chance Band, and the headline act will be Nitebridge.
Sunday will feature a Home Day Pancake Breakfast at the Lyndhurst Community Center from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. with proceeds to benefit the Sel Music Program. The Home Day Parade will start at noon at Charles F. Brush Nigh School and end at Lyndhurst City Hall.
The Kids’ Tent will feature juggling and a yo-yo show, while the big tent will have the magic of Rick Smith Jr. in the afternoon and The Queen Bees in the evening.
