Lyndhurst is going to the dogs

An upcoming event in Lyndhurst suggests the city may be going to the dogs, but it will all be for a good cause.

Legacy Village will be the site for the next Pawdoption Fair, which is hosted by Basil & Rex, a company that produces health-conscious products for dogs that prioritize their longevity and happiness. Basil & Rex is part of Locally Spruced, a space in the village that hosts local businesses.

Proceeds from the Pawdoption Fair will go to benefit Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups. Visitors to the fair can shop, read to or play with the puppies, and maybe even take home a new furry friend.

Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups Geauga Mama Dogs and Pups is an independent, private, non-profit organization solely focused on the rescue and care of puppies less than six months of age, mom dogs with litters, and pregnant dogs. The group rescues dogs from throughout Ohio and nearby states.

Geauga provides a safe and comfortable environment where pregnant moms can give birth, and where dogs with puppies can care for them. The organization’s adoptable dogs can be viewed on the organization’s website.

The Pawdoption Fair is on Saturday, September 20 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. When they plan events like this, organizers might consider working with flyer printing companies to create advertising handouts to be distributed locally.
