Lyndhurst looks forward to artistic event

An art studio in Lyndhurst is hosting a fun painting event soon.

Aspiring artists are invited to The Drawing Board Arts, where they will create a painting of a leaf of the monstera plant. The session is for people eight years of age and older, and will last for approximately two hours.

The evening is a joint venture between the studio and Well Rooted Plants, which are based in Eastlake but will be at the event offering plants for sale and advice about keeping plants healthy.

The painting session is suitable for beginning artists and those who have more advanced skills, as well as anyone who loves plants. The subject of the painting, the monstera leaf, comes from the familiar monstera deliciosa, a tropical plant that grows quickly and is known for its large, split, glossy leaves and striking shape.

To take part in painting on canvas, it is necessary to have a ticket. However, anyone who wants to stop by and make a purchase from Well Rooted Plants or browse the offerings is welcome to do so with or without a ticket.

The event is scheduled for November from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Drawing Board Arts is located at 5660 Mayfield Road, in the Greens of Lyndhurst Center. Events like this can benefit from publicity generated when organizers use flyer printing to create handouts advertising the session.
