A local company will be the place for children and their mothers to be for a fun event that will probably also be messy, although in a good way.

Dollar Essentials, a local dollar store, is hosting a Mother’s Day Kids’ Painting Party. During the party, children will paint a masterpiece they can then present to their mothers. The store will provide the canvas, which has a cut-out space that can hold a 4” by 6” photo, a frame, and all the supplies needed to finish the artwork. A light lunch is also planned.

Dollar Essentials has won an army of fans who refer to it as an upscale business, and praise the store for its cleanliness, superior organization, and wide variety of products.
