Musical afternoons heading for Lyndhurst

Music is coming to Lyndhurst. Legacy Village has shops, restaurants, a hotel, and various venues where people can enjoy live entertainment. The upcoming concerts will take place on The Lawn.

The first band scheduled is Funkology, a group of professionals, including music teachers, from the Cleveland area. Their repertoire includes not only funk, but also rock, disco, country, and Motown, as well as classic 80s hits.

Still Standing is up next. The band comprises four veterans of the music scene in Cleveland who are former members of Wild Horses, Bruno Brothers, Samsons, and Rainbow Canyon. They play the classic R&B and rock of the 1970s to the present day. They are known for their skill with yacht rock, a term given to the breezy, light-hearted California sound.

The next band is Replay, who enjoy sharing the oldies with their audiences. Their setlist includes iconic tunes like “Working My Way Back to You” by the Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, and “Son of a Preacher Man” (Dusty Springfield).

The Swamp Boogie Band winds up the series, playing classic rock, R&B, blues, Motown, and more. Their covers include Donna Summer, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Aretha Franklin, and many others.

Funkology plays July 6, Still Standing on July 13, Replay performs on July 20, and the Swamp Boogie Band on July 27. All shows are free, and start at 5.00 pm. When organizers plan events like this, they often use poster printing to create advertising to popularize them.
