A special school in Lyndhurst is inviting parents and families to come to an open house.

The Lyndhurst campus of the Julie Billiart Schools is holding an Interested Family Open House. The event allows parents to learn about the school, its faculty members, and the services it provides, by seeing the campus for themselves.

Julie Billiart Schools provide safe spaces where students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade who have dyslexia, anxiety ADHD, mild to moderate autism, or similar learning differences can grow and learn. The school believes that children who feel accepted and supported are able to manage both social and academic challenges successfully, which will set them on the path to success. Students at these schools come from throughout Northeastern Ohio.

The Interested Family Open House tours last for about 90 minutes. Participants should arrive on time, as the principal will be there to welcome them, after which they will tour the campus, visit classrooms, and have a chance to speak with administrators and teachers. The open house is aimed at parents, guardians, and grandparents. When events like this are planned, organizers can work with brochure printers to create pamphlets about the institution and make them available to attendees.

The event is scheduled for February 22, from 9.00 am until 10.30 pm. Although the tour is through a school, it is not recommended that children attend unless the parent or guardian cannot arrange childcare.
