Lyndhurst plans citywide event

Lyndhurst is setting up an event for residents who want to sell household items.

The dates for the 2022 Lyndhurst Community Sale Event have now been set. This distinctive event takes place throughout the city, as residents place items they wish to sell outside their homes. Items typically included in this sale are benches, lamps, desks, furniture, and household items of various types.

In order to make it easy for buyers to find sellers, every address where someone has items for sale will have a bright green sign posted in front of it. In addition, identical green Signs will be placed at the street corners where the homes are located. The signs say “Lyndhurst Community Sale,” and give the dates and times. The city could use poster printing to create the signs it needs for this purpose.

Lyndhurst is a small community that is no stranger to the type of event that involves many residents, as it created the Eggshellland display that has enchanted viewers for years.

The sale takes place July 21, 22, 23, and 24, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm on all four days. The deadline for requesting participation is July 1. Those who wish to be listed as taking part should find Lyndhurst Community Sale on Facebook, or email lyndhurstsale@gmail.com. There is a $5 fee, which places the seller’s information on the main list so that buyers can find the location.
