Lyndhurst celebrates summer with music

Summer entertainment in Lyndhurst will include a series of live concerts at a lifestyle center.

Legacy Village has specialty shops, restaurants, stores, entertainment, and a Hyatt hotel. During the summer, the center offers art shows and other performances, many of which take place on The Lawn, a green space centrally located in the complex.

This June, bands will bring a mix of genres to audiences. First up is the Blue Drivers, a blues/swing band. They are based in Cleveland and play standard blues numbers by artists like Junior Wells and Muddy Waters, jump blues by Louis Prima, jazz by Billie Holiday, and more.

Nitebridge is next on the schedule, with R&B and Motown songs. A party band from Cleveland, Nitebridge has nine members with a horn section, dual singers, and Moss Stanley in charge of it all.

The following week, audiences will be able to enjoy the Discovery Band, a 10-member ensemble playing dance music and R&B. June ends with the appearance of Blue Lunch, a group that plays jazz, swing, and the blues.

The Blue Drivers appear June 8, followed by Nitebridge on June 15. June 22 is the turn of Discovery Band, and the month ends with Blue Lunch appearing on June 29. All concerts are from 5.00 pm until 8.00 pm, and there is no admission charge. In case of inclement weather, the event may be canceled or postponed. Organizers of events like this often use poster printing to create advertising for them.
