Dancing in heels near Lyndhurst

An event is coming up in South Euclid, a short distance from Lyndhurst that will be a celebration of self.

ConfiDance Heels: DIVA EDITION is a class for both beginners and intermediate students who want to learn to dance in heels, perhaps taking after the great Ginger Rogers.

The organizers have planned the event so everyone can enjoy themselves. The dance begins with warm-ups that are simple and easy to follow, followed by walking across the floor for practice. Students will learn the common dance moves done by dancers wearing heels in popular videos, and finally, learn a short dance routine.

The event has a DIVA theme, and participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite R&B or Pop diva, whether that’s Beyonce, Britney, Christina, or Aaliyah—all are beloved stars and anyone who wants to dress up is encouraged to do so. Organizers are declaring that ConfiDance is a place where attendees can let go and enjoy the event, always safe and free of judgment.

Wine will be provided but people will need to bring their own glass, and those who like should bring their own water. ConfiDance Heels: DIVA EDITION is scheduled for March 14, from 7.00 pm until 9.00 pm, at the Body Language Dance Studio at 4151 Mayfield Road in South Euclid.
