Tribute to iconic rock band heads to Cincinnati

A show coming up in Cincinnati is a tribute to one of the most iconic bands in the business.

Genesis ReTouched gives audiences a unique experience by recreating a Genesis concert so precise fans will think they’re watching the original group. The tribute band plays the music of Genesis from the late 1980s to the late 2000s, when the band was most popular. Genesis ReTouched performs the hits from the band’s most popular albums including “We Can’t Dance,” “Abacab,” “Duke,” and the iconic “Invisible Touch.” They also present older material in the same way Genesis did at their sold-out performances.

Genesis ReTouched is determined to keep the Genesis legacy alive for fans of the original band, and for those who are just becoming acquainted with their music. To do so, they use live sound of the highest quality, state-of-the-art lighting, and an accurate reproduction of the original. Genesis was known for their spectacular stage shows and Genesis ReTouched is happy to duplicate them.

The original band was formed in 1967 at the Charterhouse School in Godalming in Surrey. Its most successful and longest-lasting line-up comprised singer/drummer Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford on bass and guitar, and Tony Banks on keyboards. They sold between 100-150 million albums throughout the world, and won a Grammy for “Best Concept Music Video” for “Land of Confusion.”

Genesis ReTouched will be at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati on February 1. Organizers of events like this can advertise them using poster printing.
