A winner of the Emmy-winning hit TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race will be making a stop near Cincinnati in late October.
Bianca Del Rio took home the crown in season six. Known for her outrageous makeup and insult comedy, she has stayed in the spotlight ever since. The New York Times called her “the Joan Rivers of drag,” and she has often referred to herself as a “clown in a gown” in her past routines. In addition to her work as a drag queen and in comedy, Bianca also hosts a podcast where she dives into a variety of topics with her guests.
This tour, despite being named Unsanitized, requires attendees to show proof of vaccination. Tickets cost $43 for general admission. The VIP packages are $143 and $228, with the latter being the Verbal Contamination Package. This will include a reserved ticket in the first row, a meet and greet, a socially distanced photo op with Bianca, early merch booth access, swag, an exclusive gift item, goodies, VIP merchandise, a souvenir ticket, and a VIP laminate featuring a special graphic design, along with a matching lanyard. The former, known as the Infectious Laughter Package, will contain a reserved ticket in one of the front 10 rows and many of the aforementioned features.
The venue for this comedy show is the PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation, which is just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati in Newport, Kentucky. The event will begin at 7:00 pm on October 23.
