Party for a cause in Cincinnati

A sports bar in Cincinnati will be the location of an upcoming party that is also a fundraiser for a cause.

People who come to Party at the Pitch will be able to play cornhole, grab a hamburger and some fries from a local food truck, enjoy a cold beer from a local brewery, and bid on a chance to enjoy a FC Cincinnati (FCC) game from the eight-person suite. A silent auction is planned, featuring donations from local businesses, including FCC ticket experiences for two and four people. T

The party is to raise funds for FND Hope USA. FND stands for functional neurologic disorder, which is also referred to as functional neurologic symptom disorder or conversion disorder, and describes a group of movement disorders caused by abnormal brain function. Symptoms may include issues with balance, posture, and walking, as well as paralysis or weakness in the arms and legs.

Dr. Alberto Espay, a UCHealth neurologist, will give a talk about FND, and two people affected by the disorder will discuss their experiences.

The party is April 15, from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm, and the Pitch is at 1430 Central Parkway, directly across the street from the TQL Stadium, home of the city’s professional soccer team. When events of this kind are planned, organizers can use brochure printing to create a program explaining the organization to receive funding.
