Three late night hosts are on the road and heading for Cincinnati.
The “Kings of Late Night” tour comprises Jay Leno, Craig Ferguson, and Arsenio Hall, and promises to be comedy gold.
Most people probably think of Jay Leno first as the host of “The Late Show with Jay Leno,” but he has a long career as a stand-up comedian, which he pursued even while he worked on the show. His companions on the tour are Craig Ferguson and Arsenio Hall.
Jay Leno began his career as an actor, appearing on shows like “Laverne & Shirley,” and “Good Times.” In 1977, he did a stand-up routine on “The Tonight Show,” which was then hosted by Johnny Carson. He took over as the host of the show in 1992 and hosted it until 2009, and hosted again from 2010 until 2014.
Craig Ferguson is a native of Scotland who hosted “The Late Late Show” from 2005 until 2014. Working alone, he often tackled difficult subjects and conducted in-depth interviews.
Like his tour mates, Arsenio Hall was a successful talk show host who helmed “The Arsenio Hall Show” from 1989 until 1994, and then again from 2013 to 2014. He has also acted in films such as “Harlem Nights” and “Coming to America.”
The trio of funnymen will be at the Ballroom at the Hard Rock Cincinnati on September 2. Organizers of this type of event could work with brochure printers to create programs for audiences, including biographical information.
