James Travis Tritt, known mostly as simply Travis Tritt, is a native of Marietta, Georgia, whose first album, “Country Club” in 1990, brought him success—much to the surprise of his parents, who did not believe he would make it in the music industry.
Although he had little or no family support, he had attracted the attention of Danny Davenport, an executive at Warner Bros., who continued to encourage him. With Davenport’s support, Tritt cut demos that were then shared with other Warner executives. In 1997, Tritt signed with Warner Bros. to make six recordings with them.
Davenport and Warner Bros.’ gamble on the newcomer paid off, as the first three singles Tritt dropped all hit the charts. His second recording “Help Me Hold On,” went to No. 1. In his career, Tritt has topped the U.S. Billboard charts five times with singles, and the Canadian charts six times. He also has two Grammy Awards to his credit, along with four Country Music Association awards, and has millions of record sales worldwide. Tritt also has a long line of acting credits in both film and on television. A review says:
“He is one of the best country performers out there.”
Travis Tritt will be at the Hard Rock Cincinnati Ballroom on Saturday, November 4. When an event like this is planned, organizers can create appropriate advertising using poster printing.
