Cincinnati gets set for Brew Ha-Ha

Residents of Cincinnati who enjoy both beer and laughter will soon be able to attend the Brew Ha-Ha celebration.

The festival couples drinking with comedy for a memorable evening. Patrons can sample a number of beers of various types as they take in more than 50 comedy acts.

This is the eighth Brew Ha-Ha and is slated to take place in Sawyer Point Park, located on the riverfront in Cincinnati's downtown. Comedians will work on four separate stages; headliners include David Alan Grier, The Sklar Brothers, and Bobcat Goldthwait.

The types of beers include stouts, lagers, ales, and pilsners, with more than 100 varieties available. Patrons can buy beer by the glass or in smaller sample sizes from beer stands placed throughout Sawyer Point Park.

Food will also be available from vendors including Island Noodles Florida, Wertheim's (German food), and the Hungry Food Truck.

Brew Ha-Ha runs Thursday through Saturday (August 21st - 23rd). Hours are 5:00pm to midnight Thursday and Friday, and 4:00pm to midnight Saturday. Admission is free, including admission to the comedy acts, but visitors who want to enjoy a beer will need to buy a special wristband for $5 and beer tickets for $1 each.

Brew Ha-Ha organizers could work with a banner printing company to make suitable flags for outdoor use. The Banners will move in the breeze, adding color and a dynamic component to the event.
