Presented by K12 Gallery and TEJAS, the 2021 summer art camp series will open in late May for children of all ages. The Dayton summer camp is just a few miles from Centerville and welcomes K-12 for sessions of artful fun.
Beginning May 31, the full day art camp sessions will be offered through August 6. The camps fill up quickly so early registration is recommended. The classes are offered Monday through Friday with Before Care starting at 8:30 am, and morning studio class at 9:30 am until noon. Lunch takes place from noon until 12:30 pm. The afternoon studio class is from 12:30 until 3:00 pm, and after care will go through 4:30 pm.
Promotional Products are often included in camp registration. Items such as tote Bags, Pens, and magnets with the entity’s logo printed on them make great giveaways. Local printing services are available to handle orders of this type.
Organizers encourage students to be aligned with the camp class for their next grade level. Full-day participants should bring a sack lunch that is insulated, along with beverages and daily snacks. Students are using paint throughout each day so are advised not to wear their best clothes. At the end of each week, a Friday Art party will take place allowing the students to share the art creations. Family and friends are welcome to join the party. A food truck will be onsite from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.
