New winter wonderland begins in the park

Carillon Historical Park will be the setting for a new holiday event near Centerville. A Carillon Christmas will transform the 65-acre park into a sparkling wonderland filled with holiday cheer.

The event is packed with family-friendly activities including the lighting of the tree, Santa’s Toy Shop, and letters to Santa. Train rides on the Midnight Express will take visitors through the park to enjoy 15 miles of Christmas lights. The Gristmill Christmas Village will delight young and old along with model train displays and museum store shopping.

Entertainment includes Deeds Carillon Christmas concerts and the Tailor of Gloucester Puppet Show. When hunger sets in, the Morris and Hetzel Bakery along with the Roundhouse Café will provide holiday treats. Adults may enjoy the offerings of the Carillon Brewing Company. Other specialty holiday concessions will be available throughout the park.

Banner printing creates highly visible signage at outdoor events of this type. Banners are printed on heavy canvas and can be hung high to catch attention quickly.

Sponsors for this brand-new holiday event include Huffy, Connie & John Taylor, The Lee Whitney Family, Woolpert, BLC Entertainment, Active Electric, Inc., WhioTV7, and Key Ads.

A Carillon Christmas will begin November 21 through December 30, opening each day at 5:00 pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $8 for children. Children under three years of age are free.
