An ongoing series of runs has scheduled its next event in Centerville.
The upcoming 5K Fun Run x Loose Ends Brewing Company is only one of many races in the 2024 Ohio Brewery Running Series. Loose Ends is the host of the run, which starts and ends at the taproom.
They have laid out a route that is “5k-ish” in length and winds through the community, giving participants a chance to enjoy beautiful scenery while they exercise. After they finish the race, those taking part can enjoy a free refreshing craft brew at Loose Ends. The run is a run in name only—racers can opt to jog or walk if they would rather go at a slower pace.
Everyone who takes part will receive a cold brew at the end of the run, as well as their choice of either a seasonal swag item, or a collector’s pint glass, both from the Brewery Running Series. They will also have a chance to win some great prizes, such as merchandise from the Brewery Running Series, or beer they can take home with them.
They will also have access to specific events associated with the run such as goodies, games, and live music. Part of the proceeds will go to help local nonprofit organizations.
The run is October 26, starting at 11.00 am. When organizers plan outdoor events like this, they often work with printers who use banner printing to create Signs to indicate the route.
