Everyone here in Amherst has been invited to attend or take part in this year's Walkin' On Wednesday, a 3 1/2-hour event taking place once a month during the summer.
Vendors will be located along Park Avenue and vendor applications are available for non-profits, artisans, crafters and farmer's market items and produce. Main Street Amherst members may reserve 10' by 10' spaces after a $52 refundable deposit for each event. Non-M.S.A. members will pay $26.25 per event or $66.75 for all three not including the refundable deposit. Non-profits will need IRS Determination letters, the refundable deposit and $21.25 per event.
Those who sell at multiple events like this often get a little custom business card printing done at nearby Print shops. Colorful cards can then be inserted with purchases.
All types of classic trucks, motorcycles and cars will be displayed along Church Street. Participation will be $10.75 per vehicle per event or $26.75 for all three events. Judging will take place between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm with a 50/50 pay out to the winner and awards announced around 7:30 pm. All vehicles will be parked on flat paved surfaces as they arrive.
The first Walkin' on Wednesday will take place June 11th from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm with the following ones on July 9th and August 13th.
