Businesspeople in Amherst looking to expand their network may be heading to Elyria to attend a Plugged in Business Networking mixer in mid-April, while anyone who loves to shop will be heading there for the Spring Open House in mid-May.
Geared to small businesses, the Plugged in Business Networking Event will give an opportunity for sharing resources, igniting new connections, and sparking new growth. Pink Peppercorn Catering will provide the food, and Business Cards may be entered in a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
This Plugged in Business Networking Mixer will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Unplugged Brewing, 201 E Bridge Street, Elyria.
The following month, people will be flocking to the Spring Open House, a shopping spree in Downtown Elyria. The adventure will begin at the Shoppes on Broad's Spring Vendor Market. Passports and swag Bags will be available at the Elyria Community Partnership (ECP) table there. After visiting 10 shops and amassing Stamps, shoppers can return the passports to the ECP table to be entered in a raffle. Guests may also enjoy the scavenger hunt and local cuisine.
The Spring Open House will be on Saturday, May 16 from noon to 4:00 pm in Downtown Elyria beginning at the Shoppes on Broad, 374 Broad Street.
