To kick off its Woollybear festival season, Vermillion Chamber of Commerce will be presenting its 39th annual Woollybear Outing in Amherst at the beginning of September.
The format will be a golf scramble with a shotgun start.
Registration is $500 per team and comes with 18 holes of golf; hole-in-one contest with winner receiving more than $30,000; raffles, and a 50/50. Wolfert the Woollybear will be meeting and greeting guests.
Prizes for the golf outing will be $1000 for 1st place and $500 for second place.
Sponsorships will begin with the hole sponsor package at $125. The breakfast and lunch sponsors are $200 a piece, and the cocktail sponsor package is $500. The hole-in-one will be $750 while the most expensive levels will be the title sponsor package at $1000 and the dinner sponsor package at $1500.
Each sponsor must submit their Logo Design to the event organizers as soon as possible before the event banner printing gets underway. Packages from gift basket, $200 and $500 sponsors will include the business or company's name in the program while each sponsor the $750, $1000 and $1500 level and will get their Logo Design in the event program.
The Woollybear Golf Outing will take place September 6th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at Whiskyville Golf Club, 9488 Levitt Road, S. Amherst.
