Amherst holiday enthusiasts still have time to see the Magic of Lights holiday lights drive through that will be in full swing until the end of the year.
The event is a one-mile-long trail of over 2 million lights making up holiday characters and scenes. These will include a supersized Bigfoot Monster Truck, larger-than-life (32 feet tall) Holiday Barbie, and a Prehistoric Christmas scene with life-sized dinosaurs. Other displays will include Toyland, 12 Days of Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Reindeer Road, and Festive Elves. Light tunnels will include the 200-foot-long Enchanting Tunnel of Lights.
On Tuesdays, also known as Free Treats Tuesday, the first 300 attendees will receive Jack Frost donuts. Military families will get $20 tickets at the gate, and free pictures with Santa on Mondays. On Wednesdays, guests may go through the lights twice for Double Drive Through Night. Thursday nights will see the Thursday Night Bundle, which will include inflatables, ice skating and Santa photos for $25. Fridays and Saturdays, on the other hand, will be Christmas Karaoke nights.
Online tickets are available for weekdays at a price of $27, although tickets for any-day access can be bought at $30 for duration of the show. Tickets at the gate are $35 for Monday through Thursday and $40 on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These tickets cover the entrance for vehicles, not individuals.
Pictures are often taken during these kinds of events and sent to local Print shops to become part of the advertising campaign for the coming year.
The Magic of Lights event is open from 5:30pm to 10:00pm until December 31st at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, 19201 E. Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights.Get a Free Quote for Print
