Amherst treated to two car shows on same day
The Amherst 5th Annual A Special Wish Car Show and the 3rd Annual Vintage and Classic Car Show are coming on the same Sunday in late August.
The Amherst Historical Society will be holding their 5th Annual A Special Wish Car Show to support the A Special Wish Foundation.
Car registration from 10:00 am to noon will cost $10. Participant perks will be door prizes, trophies, 50/50 raffles and a special photo area.
Photos of proud owners and their prize-winning vehicles can be taken to nearby print shops to be included in family calendars.
FLP Presents will provide the live music and there will be plenty of food vendors and village shops.
Spectators may use the free shuttle service from the Amherst Junior High School parking lot at 548 Milan Avenue.
The 5th Annual A Special Wish Car Show will take place from noon to 4:00 pm Sunday, August 24th at Sandstone Village, 763 Milan Avenue.
St. Paul Berea, ELCA will be hosting their 3rd Annual Vintage and Classic Car Show.
Car registration will be $15, and admission will be $10. All cars will get dash plaques and prizes. Solo Squares will provide square dancing, and guests may also enjoy games and local vendors.
Proceeds from this car show will go to the St. Paul Outreach program.
