Local ballpark to partner with Chamber of Commerce

The Akron Rubber Ducks – a local attraction which generates tens of thousands in ticket sales and millions in revenue annually–will partner with the Akron Chamber of Commerce to show local vendors how they can do business together.

This event – “Business at the Ballpark” – will serve as a perfect networking attempt for local businesses looking for an opportunity to work with the Akron RubberDucks. It will specifically offer attendees the chance to meet RubberDuck executives and potentially discuss partnerships. After the event, attendees are encouraged to stay for the game. Game tickets come with event attendance.

In addition to the networking, the event will give attendees a chance to get exclusive access to areas of the park that are not usually open to the park. This is meant not only to entertain, but to give attendees a better idea of what sort of services the Rubber Ducks may need.
As this is a networking event, attendees should come prepared with business cards and be ready to pitch their products, services, and business.

The event is being held on Thursday, July 20, from 4:30pm until 6:30pm. It will take place at the Tiki Terrace of the baseball stadium, local at 300 S. Main Street, in Akron. The registration also comes with food, drinks, and a game ticket. Tickets are $35 for Chamber members and $50 for future members. Sponsorships are available at a cost of $500 or $1,500.
