Akron gala celebrates female entrepreneurs and visionaries
Akron’s influential women will be celebrated at a special gala dinner held by a group dedicated to inspiring and supporting young women in the community.
Ladies of Legacy 2020 is an awards night and dinner and is the annual fundraiser for Limitless Ambition, a non-profit group designed to help young women achieve their goals with counselling, mentoring, education, and emotional support. The group goes into economically marginalized areas and looks for young women with ideas and drive, and helps to break down societal barriers that may keep them from reaching their potential.
Tickets for the event start at $40. Sponsorship packages are also available where donors can support one or more young girls in the pursuit of their dreams. Sponsorship packages range from $100 to $5,000 and include a table for the event, also enabling a number of teen girls to attend the event, along with signage and logos displayed at the table and a mention in the gala program.
More than 125 people attended Ladies of Legacy 2019 and the event raised more than $4,000.
