Akron floats its third annual boat show
One of the largest boat shows in northern Ohio is about to launch in Akron. The third Annual Akron Boat and Watersports Show boasts hundreds of exhibitors with the latest and greatest in all aspects of the world of boating.
If it floats, it will likely be featured and on display at the John S. Knight Center: fishing boats, jet-skis, pontoons, ski boats, and even stand-up paddleboards. Hundreds of dealers from across the state will be on hand to show off their products and answer questions.
There is a different theme and activity schedule for every day of the three-day event. Friday is ‘Date Night’, with live music and activities four couples. Celebrating Ohio's Portage Lakes will highlight Saturday's schedule, and Sunday features special entertainment and activities for children.
There is a relaxed atmosphere at this boat show, with a full-bar setup and dining options as well, including local lake fish such as perch and seafood dishes.
Admission is $8, or free for children, and there is free parking. Vendors at trade shows such as these can take use business card printing and brochure printing services to distribute information to visitors and potential customers.
