Akron chamber to hold 116th annual meeting
The Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce – one of the largest business organizations in the Akron area – has announced details for its 116th annual meeting.
According to the event website, the event represents a “celebration, connection, and recognition” of local Akron businesses. As is the case with all Chamber events, it also offers a chance for Chamber members and attendees the chance to network with and get to know each other.
The event will begin with a networking reception and a chance to get to know other local business leaders. Next, the Chamber will present the winner of the H. Peter Burg Economic Development Leadership Award, followed by a keynote address from a yet-to-be-confirmed speaker.
The event is on Wednesday, March 15, from 4:45 pm to 7:15 pm. There will be no dinner, but “heavy appetizers” will be offered in order to allow attendees the maximum chance to network with each other rather than take up time with a full dinner.
For more information on the event, including how to register, visit the website.
The website notes that it is not too late to sponsor the event. Sponsorship comes with a variety of benefits, including event recognition and the ability to put promotional products on tables throughout the event. Sponsorship prices range from $10,000 for presenting sponsors, down to $1,250 for a patron sponsorship.
